1. Ternary catalytic converter has stable performance, reliable quality and long life. Its products are widely used in Toyota, Honda, Buick, Audi, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Suzuki, Changhe and other models.
2. The carrier component of ternary catalytic converter is a porous ceramic material, which is installed in a special exhaust pipe. It is called a carrier because it does not take part in catalytic reaction, but is covered with a layer of platinum, rhodium, palladium and other precious metals. It can convert HC and CO in waste gas into water and CO2, and decompose Nox into nitrogen and oxygen at the same time. HC and CO are toxic gases, too much inhalation can lead to death, while NOX can directly lead to the occurrence of photochemical smog.
3. Research has proved that ternary catalysts are the most effective way to reduce these emissions. Through oxidation and reduction, carbon monoxide is oxidized to carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons are oxidized to water and carbon dioxide, and nitrogen oxides are reduced to nitrogen and oxygen.
All three kinds of harmful gases have turned into harmless gases. The ternary catalyst reacts at the lowest temperature of 250 degrees Celsius, and the conversion efficiency decreases sharply when the temperature is too low, while the active temperature (the optimum working temperature) of the catalyst is 400 ~800 ~C, which will aggravate the aging of the catalyst. Under the ideal air-fuel ratio (14.7:1), the catalytic conversion effect is also the best.
